Wow. BULLSHIT radar engaged.
Niall Fergurson dropped this line in an article for Newsweek arguing for WAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR with Iran.
If you are going to write an article arguing for war it’s best not to drop BULLSHIT that makes you sound like A MOTHER FUCKING BOND VILLAIN!
“Yeeeeeeessssss, my precious” *pets white cat* “One must blow up lots of humans to make an omelet!”
That’s what we call War Mongering BULLSHIT
”The Framers protected our speech, our religious expression, our security, and our wealth from the government; their Constitution was written as a warning to government not to encroach upon the liberties granted to us by God.” ~ Tim Nerenz, Ph.D. —
This is complete and total nonsensical Libertarian revisionist BULLSHIT.
Never mind that Tim Nerenz has a mysterious Ph.D. (you know most Ph.D.’s actually say what/where they got their Ph.D. in though Timmay doesn’t but whatever) but the line that “their Constitution was written as a warning to government…” is historical POPPY COCK!
For the sake of George Washington, James Madison and Ben Franklin can someone drop some Federalist truth on this moron?
The U.S. Constitution specifically ESTABLISHES the Federal Government. Its entire purpose for existence is to CREATE a new government because the Articles of Confederation weren’t working.
The whole document is about WHY the government has authority, WHY the new government being set up by the Constitution SHOULD exist and what AUTHORITY the federal government has.
It is not a “warning” you idiot.
You may say, ”wait a second, isn’t he talking about the Bill of Rights?” You are CORRECT. Unfortunately our mysterious Ph.D. doesn’t seem to know his basic history. The Constitution was ratified and the federal government established before the amendments were presented by the first Congress in 1789.
You can’t conflate the two events as synonomous and ANY REAL political scientists or historian would know this basic shit.
This is pure, unadulterated, religious BULLSHIT!
Clearly your prayer bullet proof vest could stop a .45 at a range of 5 feet. But if you used your Allah prayer bullet proof vest it wouldn’t even be able to stop a .22, right?
This is such BULLSHIT that the theology behind it is mindfuckingly moronic. Deuteronomic theology —that good things happen to religously righteous people— is just fucking wrong because bad things happen to good people. And good things happen to shitty people.
It’s called life.
Read the book of Job you lazy asses.
